Warm Welcome: Greet and interact with guests in a friendly, engaging manner, anticipating their needs and offering personalized recommendations.
Cultural Ambassador: Share local knowledge about Puerto Princesa, Sabang, and resort activities with guests while serving.
Service Excellence: Handle guest feedback or special requests promptly and professionally to ensure a memorable stay.
Mixology: Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages—including classic cocktails, local Filipino-inspired drinks, and fresh tropical blends—strictly following standard recipes.
Upselling: Confidently suggest premium spirits, signature drinks, and bar snacks to enhance the guest experience and support F&B revenue.
Team Coordination: Maintain speed and accuracy during peak hours, ensuring seamless coordination with waitstaff and the culinary team.
Cleanliness & Maintenance: Keep the bar counter, equipment, glassware, and lounge areas completely spotless, adhering to strict sanitation standards.
Stock Management: Monitor liquor inventory, garnishes, and bar supplies. Prepare daily requisitions to restock items before they run out.
System Operations: Process payments and room charges accurately using the POS system.
Responsible Service: Strictly enforce legal drinking laws and monitor guest alcohol consumption to ensure a safe environment.
Eco-Friendly Practices: Actively support the resort's sustainability initiatives by minimizing waste, prioritizing recyclable materials behind the bar, and properly sorting waste.
Experience: At least 1-2 years of bartending experience in a hotel, resort, or high-volume F&B setting.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; TESDA certification in Bartending (NC II) or Food & Beverage Services is a strong advantage.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of spirits, classic cocktails, and mixology trends.
Proficiency with POS systems and accurate cash handling.
Excellent English and Tagalog communication skills.
Certifications: Valid Food Handler's Certificate or Health Card.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long shifts, perform physical tasks such as lifting supplies (up to 25 lbs), and work comfortably in a tropical resort setting.
