Job summary

GT PRIME VENTURES INC is seeking an Operations Assistant to provide operational and administrative support across daily activities. The role emphasizes café/barista operations, inventory control, and staff coordination to maintain high standards at multiple branches.

The candidate will monitor sales, inventory, and reporting, assist with training, and ensure compliance with procedures. Travel between branches is expected on occasion, and flexible hours may be required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in café, restaurant, F&B, retail, or similar operations.
• Basic to intermediate barista knowledge required.
• Knowledge of espresso-based beverages and basic café operations.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Willing to travel between branches or operating locations.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Able to work independently and take initiative.
• Willing to work flexible hours depending on operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring day-to-day operations.
• Conduct branch/store visits and operational checks when required.
• Ensure employees follow company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
• Monitor store cleanliness, organization, equipment, and overall readiness.
• Identify operational issues and report them to management.
• Assist in implementing corrective actions and operational improvements.
• Provide support to branches during peak periods or staffing shortages when necessary.
• Apply basic to intermediate knowledge of barista operations.
• Understand espresso preparation, milk steaming, beverage preparation, and drink assembly.
• Ensure proper adherence to beverage recipes, measurements, and portioning.
