Job summary

City Garden Grand Hotel in Makati City is seeking a Banquet Sales Manager to drive revenue through securing banquet and events business. You will lead the full sales cycle, from prospecting to contract and handover to the events team, while building strong client relationships.

The role requires 3+ years in banquet/events/hospitality sales, strong negotiation and CRM proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple accounts in a fast-paced luxury hotel.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in banquet sales, events sales or hospitality sales management in hotels, resorts or venues.
• Strong understanding of banquet/event operations, catering, and client expectations.
• Proven ability to negotiate and close deals and meet sales targets.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to relate to diverse clients.
• Proficient in CRM systems and MS Office; able to manage multiple client accounts.

Responsibilities

• Identify, pursue and secure new banquet and events business from corporate clients and planners.
• Prepare and deliver tailored banquet proposals and quotations within budgets.
• Negotiate contracts to maximise revenue and favorable terms.
• Manage the full sales cycle from inquiry to contract, handover to events team.
• Maintain detailed CRM records of leads, proposals and closed business.
• Collaborate with Events Coordinator, Executive Chef and operations for flawless events.
• Build relationships to encourage repeat bookings and referrals.
• Monitor market trends and pricing to sustain competitive advantage.
• Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and revenue goals.
• Attend industry events to expand market presence and prepare forecasts.
