Job summary

M CATERING AND FINE FOODS in Quezon City is seeking an experienced Event Service Manager to coordinate kitchen, sales, and service teams for flawless banquets. You will oversee end-to-end event flow, enforce hygiene and safety standards, brief staff on BEO and program details, and promptly resolve on-the-floor issues to guarantee guest satisfaction and zero escalations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate closely with the kitchen team to maintain a seamless service flow and with the sales team to ensure all contractual obligations are met.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure all setups and equipment are "event-ready" and meet company standards.
• Facilitate pre-service briefings to discuss the Banquet Event Order (BEO), client profile, menu/dietary restrictions, program flow, timeline, and specific client requirements, while assigning station duties; inspect team members for 100% compliance with grooming and hygiene standards.
• Manage the end-to-end event flow, including venue set-up (ingress), service execution, and dismantling (egress).
• Supervise and monitor the service team to ensure the pacing of the event is seamless—preventing guests from feeling either rushed or neglected.
• Maintain rigorous standards for food safety, personal hygiene, and service readiness across the team.
• Enforce company policies, safety guidelines, hygiene protocols, and service Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Address and resolve on-the-floor complaints or concerns immediately and effectively before they escalated, aiming for zero valid complaints and maximum satisfaction.
• Oversee the breakdown of the setup, ensuring all materials, equipment and linen is accounted for and secured to minimize Loss and Breakage (L&B).
• Submit post-event reports detailing customer feedback, and team performance.
