Job summary

Bank of China Hong Kong in the Philippines is seeking a client service professional to handle over-the-counter transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, remittances, and account openings, while ensuring accuracy and BSP compliance.

You will provide courteous service, verify documents, and support daily banking operations in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Fookien or Mandarin is an advantage for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any four-year course.
• Proficiency in Fookien and/or Mandarin is an advantage.
• Strong client relationship and customer service skills.

• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt and courteous client service while ensuring transactions are processed in accordance with the Bank's policies and procedures.
• Processes cash and check deposits and intrabank fund transfers, ensuring accuracy of account details, cash denominations, check information, and compliance with PCHC clearing standards.
• Reviews and processes foreign exchange transactions, including purchase, sale, and remittances, ensuring compliance with BSP regulations and Bank policies.
• Processes Debit Card applications, assists with card activation, and facilitates PIN changes or resets.
• Prepares and validates accounting tickets and transaction vouchers to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Performs daily cash reconciliation, ensuring beginning and ending cash balances and bundles are accurately accounted for and endorsed to the Cash/Vault Custodian.
• Maintains proper tracking and documentation of important blank documents issued to clients.
• Verifies client documents and signatures against authorized records, including Secretary's Certificates and signature cards, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Performs other duties as assigned to support daily banking operations.
• Ensures compliance with the Bank's policies, procedures, regulations, and code of conduct.
• Maintains an organized work area and ensures completeness, proper scanning, and filing of transaction vouchers.
• Processes BOCNET internet and mobile banking registrations, password resets, and eToken issuance or replacement.
• Prepares and reviews customer account opening and maintenance documents, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with KYC and due diligence requirements.
• Processes account opening applications and conducts periodic and trigger event reviews in accordance with regulatory requirements and Bank policies.
• Attend to inquiries and complaints in a timely manner and coordinate with different Department to ensure resolution.
• Recommend improvements in operational processes, procedures and products based on customer feedback.
• Performs marketing function to cross-sell and promote bank's products.
