Job summary

Home Credit Philippines is seeking a Finance Reconciliation Supervisor to own the monthly balance sheet reconciliations across all general ledger accounts, ensure timely resolution of open items and variances, and prepare audit-ready supporting schedules.

You will lead a small team of 3–5 analysts, assign ownership by risk, review work, coach on reconciliation discipline, conduct regular one-on-ones, and ensure control evidence is audit-ready while coordinating with external and internal

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in general accounting, controllership, or a finance shared-services environment.
• 1–2 years of formal supervisory experience, including performance management of direct reports.
• Working knowledge of PFRS / PAS and their application to balance sheet accounts.
• Hands-on ERP experience with SAP S/4HANA including GL, sub-ledger tie-outs, and report extraction.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, large data sets).

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts for the company, including cash/bank, receivables, prepayments, accruals, intercompany, fixed assets, and equity.
• Review and approve reconciliations; ensure substantiation by third-party or verifiable support.
• Maintain the balance sheet reconciliation tracker and certification status (preparer, reviewer, sign-off date, risk rating, aging).
• Prepare and review journal entries arising from reconciliations with correct account, cost center, entity, and currency.
• Deliver close activities within the corporate close calendar and verify completion against the checklist.
• Prepare or review balance sheet flux and MoM variance analyses with materiality thresholds and explanations.
• Directly supervise 3–5 analysts; allocate ownership, balance workloads, and manage leave/coverage.
• Conduct regular one-on-ones, set objectives, and deliver mid-year/year-end appraisals.
• Ensure reconciliation controls are evidenced and audit-ready; coordinate with auditors on PBC schedules.
• Identify control gaps and lead remediation; support SOX/internal control testing.
• Identify and lead standardization/automation of repetitive reconciliations; contribute to tooling requirements.
• Track and report reconciliation KPIs to drive improvement initiatives.
