Job summary

Sun Life Financial Philippines is seeking a detail‑oriented Finance professional to prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of postings. You will analyze financial data, identify risks, and collaborate with auditors as well as internal teams to drive process improvements.

The role requires 1–2 years in auditing or general accounting, with strong Excel skills and knowledge of GAAP. Candidates with a BS in Accountancy and CPA will be preferred; exposure to Canadian/US PH

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Accountancy required or equivalent.
• CPA certification is desirable but not mandatory.
• 1–2 years of experience in external/internal auditing, accounts reconciliation or general accounting.

Responsibilities

• Prepares comprehensive monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts assigned by the section head and maintains their reconciled status in line with guidelines.
• Identifies potential risks and resolves accounting and control issues; coordinates with related units.
• Provides accurate financial information to management, auditors and other stakeholders.
