Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Bakery Assistant to support the Bread and Pastry Team in daily production. This hands-on role requires hard work, organization, dependability, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced bakery environment.

You will assist bakers with daily production, measure ingredients, help with dough, prepare trays and equipment, and ensure cleanliness and safety across shifts. Previous bakery or hospitality experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist bakers with daily bread and pastry production.
• Prepare and measure ingredients according to instructions.
• Assist with dough preparation, portioning, shaping and other production tasks.
• Prepare baking trays, molds, tools and equipment.
• Assist with proofing, baking, cooling and product handling.
• Help prepare and organize ingredients and mise en place.
• Assist with packing and preparing products for dispatch.
• Keep workstations, equipment and production areas clean and organized.
• Follow food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standards.
• Assist with cleaning and closing procedures.
