Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology/Food Science or related field.
• Strong knowledge in baking science (bread, cakes and pastries).
• Experience in product development and recipe formulation.
• Understanding of ingredients, costing and shelf life.
• Familiarity with GMP, HACCP and quality standards.
• Ability to conduct product testing and standardization.
• Passionate about baking and food innovation.
• Organized and deadline-driven.
• Flexible and hands-on in kitchen or plant.
• Patient and persistent during trial-and-error processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop new bakery products (Breads, cakes and Pastries).
• Improve existing recipes for better quality, shelf life and cost efficiency.
• Conduct product trials, testing and sensory evaluations.
• Standardize recipes and preparation procedures for production.
• Ensures products comply with food safety and quality standards.
• Prepare product specifications, costing and documentation.
• Source and evaluate new raw materials and suppliers.
• Trouble shoot products and production issues.
• Train production staff on new products and procedures.
