Job summary

Universal Robina Corporation in the Philippines is seeking a probationary Production Operations Engineer to oversee manufacturing activities, monitor quality, and ensure GMP adherence in a food production environment.

The role includes equipment startup/shutdown, maintenance coordination, accurate record keeping, and supervising junior operators while complying with safety standards and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Engineer; preferably Mechanical, Electrical, or ECE.
• Must have at least one year of experience in food manufacturing production or maintenance; aseptic exposure is a plus.
• Strong planning, organizing, directing, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production operations and ensure adherence to the production plan.
• Check materials for variety, quantity, quality, and weight per formula.
• Adjust equipment parameters and supervise start-up, production, and shutdown per rules.
• Maintain accurate production line records and report emergencies to supervisors.
• Monitor machine performance for productivity, efficiency, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with related departments and ensure proper cleaning, setup, and segregation of materials.
• Provide guidance and training to new staff and support daily reports and maintenance tasks.
