Job summary

S&R Membership Shopping in the Philippines seeks a Bakery Production Supervisor to lead daily bakery operations, ensure quality, and enforce SOP compliance while coordinating production planning and inventory control.

You will supervise staff, optimize yield versus plan, maintain safety standards, and ensure on-time delivery of finished goods for display and sale across stores. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Food Technology, Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or related course.
• 2–3 years of experience in bakery operations or food production.
• Experience supervising staff and daily bakery operations.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene practices, and SOP compliance.
• Familiarity with production planning, inventory management, and quality control.
• Basic knowledge of sales forecasting and product display standards.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality service and ensure excellent operational standards
• Create, review, and implement the production plan accurately and consistently
• Analyze production output in terms of yield versus plan, including defects and wastage
• Ensure weekly inventory accuracy in the MMS system
• Prepare and manage team schedules
• Recommend critical products based on sales contribution and demand
• Ensure strict compliance with approved product layout and display standards
• Review and approve relevant recommendations from Bakers and production staff
• Ensure full compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Oversee proper equipment care and preventive maintenance
• Manage timely ordering of raw materials and packaging, maintaining approved weekly supply levels
• Ensure on-time delivery of finished products for display and sales
• Conduct random checks to ensure SOP compliance for both in-process and finished products
• Engage customers and team members through product knowledge sharing and service interaction
• Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to support business needs as required
• Perform other related duties as assigned from time to time
