Job summary

Gourmet Creations OPC in Pasig is seeking a reliable Baker/Pastry Baker to join our kitchen team. You will prepare breads, pastries, and cakes while upholding quality and food safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of baking experience, foundational knowledge of breads and pastries, and a willingness to learn new techniques. This is an on-site, full-time position with room to grow in a busy bakery.

Qualifications

At least 1 year of baking experience.
Knowledge of breads, pastries, and cakes.
Basic knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and kitchen safety.
Proficient with kitchen equipment and ovens.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Willing to learn and adapt in a fast-paced kitchen.
High School graduate required.
Certificate or diploma in Baking is an advantage but not required.

Responsibilities

Prepare and bake breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked products according to recipes and standards.
Measure, mix, proof, shape, bake, and finish products accurately.
Organize ingredients and baking materials for daily production.
Monitor baking times, temperatures, and quality for consistency.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of baking and kitchen areas.
Follow proper food handling, hygiene, and safety procedures.
Operate, clean, and maintain ovens, mixers, and equipment.
Perform multiple tasks while meeting production schedules.
Work independently and cooperate with kitchen staff.
Assist with inventory and proper storage of ingredients and supplies.
Follow company standards and learn new techniques and recipes.
Perform other baking and kitchen-related duties as assigned.
