Job summary

DXC Technology Philippines Taguig seeks a Back‑Up Major Incident Manager to oversee Severity 1 incidents when the primary MIM is unavailable. You will ensure rapid service restoration, incident governance, and clear communications to business stakeholders.

You will collaborate with Technical Recovery teams, Management Bridge, and client teams to minimize downtime and drive post‑incident reviews and improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of ITIL Incident & Major Incident Management processes.
• Experience with incident management tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
• Knowledge of infrastructure domains (network, server, cloud, database).
• Ability to lead cross-functional and virtual teams.

Responsibilities

• Own Major Incidents (Severity 1.x) end-to-end in absence of primary MIM.
• Coordinate Technical Recovery actions and bridge activities.
• Communicate incident status clearly to stakeholders and leadership.
• Ensure proper incident documentation and closure per ITIL standards.
