Job summary

HDEC-DONGAH JOINT VENTURE is seeking a Backhoe Operator for on-site excavation, loading, trenching, and site preparation tasks. You will operate the backhoe safely, perform pre-operation checks, and work closely with ground crew to follow plans and safety procedures.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of hands-on experience, a TESDA Heavy Equipment Operation NC II certificate, and the ability to work outdoors in a physically demanding environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Backhoe Operator.
• Valid TESDA Heavy Equipment Operation NC II or related certification.
• Knowledge of backhoe operation and safety procedures.
• Good equipment control and awareness of surroundings.
• Physically fit and willing to work onsite and outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Operate backhoe safely according to site requirements.
• Conduct daily pre-operation inspections.
• Perform excavation, digging, loading, and backfilling activities.
• Follow site plans, instructions, and safety procedures.
• Coordinate with ground workers and other equipment operators.
• Monitor equipment condition and report defects or malfunctions.
• Perform basic cleaning and maintenance of the equipment.
