Job summary

Emapta is seeking a Backend Integration Developer to bring together PHP, Azure messaging, REST APIs, and event-driven architecture for complex backend systems. You will own asynchronous workflows, optimize integrations, and troubleshoot across distributed data flows.

This six-month project-based engagement is onsite in Mandaluyong. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in backend or systems integration, strong PHP skills, and hands-on Azure experience.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of backend development or systems integration experience, with strong PHP skills.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining backend services, APIs, interfaces, and system integrations.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Azure messaging and integration services.
• Strong REST APIs, web services, and application-to-application integrations.
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture, asynchronous messaging, queues, and integration patterns.
• Advanced SQL with complex queries, optimization, and debugging/performance tuning.
• Understanding of data exchange, integration workflows, error handling, retries, logging, and reliability.
• Ability to troubleshoot interconnected applications and perform root-cause analysis across data flows.
• Focus on performance, scalability, availability, and maintainability.
• Willing to onsite work in Mandaluyong for a six-month project-based engagement.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of backend development or systems integration experience, with strong hands-on PHP development skills
• Proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining backend services, APIs, interfaces, and system integrations
• Hands‑on proficiency with Microsoft Azure messaging and integration services
• Strong experience with REST APIs, web services, and application-to-application integrations
• Practical knowledge of event-driven architecture, asynchronous messaging, message queues, and integration patterns
• Advanced SQL expertise, including complex queries, query optimization, troubleshooting, and database performance tuning
• Strong understanding of data exchange, integration workflows, error handling, retries, logging, monitoring, and application reliability
• Experience troubleshooting interconnected applications and performing root cause analysis across multiple systems and data flows
• Ability to build solutions with strong performance, scalability, availability, and maintainability
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaborate across technical teams
• Available for onsite work in Mandaluyong for a six-month project-based engagement
