The Qualifications We Seek
Educational Background
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Experience
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, with demonstrated technical leadership at the module or feature-team level
- Strong hands‑on proficiency in NestJS/Node.js and/or Flutter/React, with the ability to review both frontend and backend implementations as required
- Practical, daily experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor and prompt-driven development workflows
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of REST API design, layered architecture (Controller/Service/DTO), and secure coding practices
- Experience with code reviews and actionable, standards-based feedback
- Working knowledge of PostgreSQL and basic data modeling
- Ability to balance hands‑on development with technical and process coordination for a small engineering team
- Familiarity with IAM and RBAC concepts, including Keycloak or Azure Entra, for feature‑level implementation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a Team Lead or informal technical lead within a cross‑functional engineering team
- Familiarity with gRPC and .proto‑based service development
- Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD practices
Your Daily Tasks
Module Ownership and Delivery
- Take end‑to‑end ownership of a specific module or feature domain within TRM, ETM, or other platform workstreams.
- Break down Technical Design Documents into actionable engineering tickets aligned with the Engineering Lead's sprint backlog.
- Ensure module‑level outputs meet the DDEA Definition of Done, including validation, error handling, logging, documentation, and IAM/RBAC integration, before QA handoff.
AI-Assisted Development and Code Quality
- Enforce Cursor project rules and prompt‑template standards during code generation and prevent ad hoc prompting for production components.
- Perform hands‑on code reviews for the module's Frontend and Backend Engineers before escalation to the Engineering Lead's broader review cycle.
Escalation and Coordination
- Serve as the first‑line technical escalation point for blockers, architectural ambiguity, and integration issues within the module.
- Coordinate directly with QA Engineers during module‑level functional and regression testing.
- Escalate architecture or design gaps identified during implementation to the Engineering Lead and Architecture Lead, when required.
- Mentor Frontend and Backend Software Engineers on DDEA standards, AI‑assisted development practices, and code quality expectations.
Other Responsibilities
- Perform administrative and non‑administrative duties as assigned by authorized Company representatives through written or verbal instruction.
