Job summary

TP ICAP Group is hiring a Back-End Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust server-side applications and APIs for high-volume, data-intensive environments. You will shape technical architecture, drive reliability, and promote best practices across cross-functional teams.

The role requires hands-on experience with latency-sensitive trading systems, distributed architectures, and modern .NET technologies.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building and supporting latency-sensitive front-office trading systems (OMS, Matching, Execution).
• Strong background in designing and maintaining distributed, event-driven, cloud-native applications.
• Understanding of low-latency engineering, concurrency, multithreading, and performance optimisation.
• SDLC experience across design, development, QA, deployment, and production support.
• Balance rapid delivery with architectural rigour and long-term maintainability.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerisation, and orchestration.
• Familiarity with FIX protocol and FIX message handling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust server-side applications and APIs for high-volume environments.
• Collaborate with Architects and Trading SMEs to deliver mission-critical systems end-to-end.
• Drive performance, scalability, resilience, and adherence to engineering best practices.
