Job summary

TP ICAP Philippines is seeking a Market Data Support Engineer to join the Parameta Solutions team in Manila. You will help maintain real-time market data feeds, ensure data accuracy, and support client-facing products and internal trading systems.

This hybrid role requires strong Linux-based expertise, scripting for automation, and collaboration with Trading, Product, Engineering, and Operations to deliver a resilient, low-latency data platform.

Qualifications

• Strong experience supporting real-time market data systems.
• Proficient with Linux (Red Hat) environments.
• Scripting experience for automation (Bash, Perl, Tcl).
• Solid networking knowledge (OSI model, TCP/IP).
• Experience with SQL/databases for data analysis.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support real-time market data feeds across internal systems, clients, vendors, and exchanges.
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of market data through monitoring and alerting.
• Diagnose and resolve data quality, latency, and performance issues.
• Integrate, normalize, and distribute data from multiple sources.
• Optimize data processing pipelines for low latency and high throughput.
• Develop and enhance monitoring, alerting, and automation frameworks.
• Collaborate with Trading, Product, Engineering, and Operations teams.
• Provide out-of-hours support for deployments and incident management.
