Job summary

Lingaro Group Philippines is seeking a senior Python backend engineer to design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python, building RESTful APIs and microservices. You will work across distributed services on Microsoft Azure with Azure Databricks and serverless components.

You will contribute to Azure cloud solutions, utilize FastAPI or Django, and implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment workflows.

Qualifications

• Senior Python backend development experience across distributed services.
• Hands-on Azure development, including Databricks Unity Catalog and serverless components.
• Experience with FastAPI and/or Django for API design.
• Proficient in building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Solid CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment knowledge.
• Production experience with Docker containers.
• Proficient with SQLAlchemy ORM and data modeling.
• Celery for asynchronous tasks and scheduled jobs.

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python.

What We're Looking For:

• Strong commercial experience in Python backend development at a senior level.

• Mandatory: hands-on experience developing software across distributed services in Microsoft Azure.

• Mandatory: practical experience with Azure Databricks, including Unity Catalog and serverless capabilities on Azure.

• Mandatory: strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud solutions and services.

• Proven experience with backend frameworks such as FastAPI and/or Django.

• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices.

• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment workflows.

• Practical experience working with Docker in production environments.

• Practical experience with SQLAlchemy, including ORM, database sessions, queries, and data modeling.

• Experience with Celery for asynchronous processing, background jobs, and scheduled tasks.
