Job summary

Coins.ph, a pioneer crypto brand in the Philippines, is seeking a senior Java architect to lead end-to-end development of our cross-border payment platform. You will drive design, delivery, and performance improvements across acquiring, clearing, settlement, and ledger accounting.

You will build robust risk-aware reconciliation systems and work with international rails, banks, and card networks to enable multi-currency settlement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional Java development experience.
• 2+ years in architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience with cross-border payment platforms or similar payment infrastructures.
• Strong understanding of payment APIs and rails.
• Excellent communication and ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design, end-to-end development, and performance optimization of the core cross-border payment platform.
• Architect robust anti-fund-loss and automated reconciliation systems to minimize leaks and risk.
• Spearhead integrations with international payment rails, banks, LPMs, and major card networks.
• Optimize infrastructure for high availability and low latency across distributed transactions.
• Collaborate with risk, finance, compliance, and product teams to improve stability and compliance.
