Job summary

Plain Concepts is seeking a Principal Cloud Engineer to design, evolve and scale cloud-native and AI-driven platforms. You will own cloud architectures on Azure, drive security, governance, and production readiness, and mentor engineers across multidisciplinary teams.

You’ll collaborate with AI, data and software teams to productionize ML/LLM solutions, build CI/CD pipelines, and advance Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, all within an agile environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in cloud/platform engineering roles.
• Strong Azure experience in production environments.
• Experience with IaC and Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead Azure cloud architectures for scalable platforms.
• Ensure technical quality of proposals, RFP responses, and solution definitions.
• Own knowledge strategy and documentation across chapters and teams.
• Lead mentoring across the chapter and guide senior engineers.
• Identify new services, accelerators and reusable assets.
