Job summary

Home Credit Philippines is seeking an IT Cloud Architect to lead the strategic and tactical direction for Cloud and Hybrid Solutions. The role involves designing secure, scalable cloud architectures on AWS or Azure, translating business needs into robust designs.

You will architect and review design artifacts, provide technical direction to multiple architects, and ensure adherence to global standards while driving new patterns and DR planning.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Cloud Architecture role.
• Proven experience managing cloud tenants in Azure or AWS with monthly spend.
• Experience running production workloads with containers and Kubernetes.
• Practical experience with GitOps.
• Solid knowledge of IT security & network.

Job description

The IT Cloud Architect sets the strategic and tactical direction for Cloud and Hybrid Solutions in HCPH environment. Candidate should have expertise in designing cloud and hybrid solutions that run on Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure, including compute, network, storage, monitoring, and security. Responsibilities for this role include advising stakeholders and translating business requirements into designs for secure, scalable, and reliable Cloud solutions.

What You Will Do

• Architecting and designing solutions that meet the functional and non-functional requirements
• Create and review architecture and solution design artifacts
• Provide technical direction and lead a group of one or more architects addressing a common goal.
• Enforce adherence to architectural standards and principles, globally followed product-specific guidelines, usability design standards, etc.
• Ability to analyze and operate at various levels of abstraction
• Ensure suitable sizing of solutions, technology fit, and DR are assessed and accounted for.
• Keep abreast of emerging technology/industry trends in the cloud and define new patterns and standards as required.
• Drive, Plan and Develop blueprints and deliverables that help customers in advancing their Cloud capabilities, involving both new solutions and migration of existing solutions
• Collaborate and guide other team members to design and develop end-to-end processes aligning with the defined architecture.

What You Should Have

• Minimum 7 years of experience in Cloud Architecture role
• Has proven track record of administrating cloud tenant in Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services in an IT organization with monthly spending more than 20 000$
• Experience in running production workload using Containerization and Kubernetes
• Practical experience with GitOps
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or AWS Certified Solutions Architect
• Solid knowledge of IT Security & Network
• Solid knowledge of DevSecOps
• Willingness and strong interest to deep dive into details when necessary while maintaining an overall strategy and direction
