Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience designing and developing REST APIs and OpenAPI specifications.
• Experience with AWS Lambda and API Gateway.
• Proficiency in Python or Node.js for backend development.
• Understanding of API security, versioning, backward compatibility, and error handling.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automated deployment practices.
• Knowledge of cloud monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Design REST APIs and create OpenAPI specifications.
• Develop and maintain serverless services using AWS Lambda with Python or Node.js.
• Configure and support API Gateway integrations, routing, authentication, and versioning.
• Apply API security controls such as OAuth 2.0 and JWTs.
• Build CI/CD and IaC deployment solutions.
• Implement API logging, monitoring, and alerting.
• Create automated tests and support deployment pipelines.
• Collaborate with architecture and product teams on delivery.
