Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience designing and developing REST APIs and OpenAPI specifications.
• Experience with AWS Lambda and API Gateway.

• Understanding of API security, versioning, backward compatibility, and error handling.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automated deployment practices.
• Knowledge of cloud monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

Builds secure, versioned, and reliable APIs and serverless components that expose platform capabilities. The role owns API design from contract definition through cloud deployment, monitoring, and ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities

• Design REST APIs and create clear, standards-based OpenAPI specifications.
• Develop and maintain serverless services using AWS Lambda with Python or Node.js.
• Configure and support API Gateway integrations, routing, authentication, and versioning.
• Apply API security controls such as OAuth 2.0, JSON Web Tokens, and access policies.
• Build cloud-native deployment solutions using Infrastructure as Code.
• Implement API logging, monitoring, error handling, and operational alerts.
• Create automated tests and support continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
• Collaborate with architecture, automation, quality, and product teams on end-to-end delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications
