Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an AWS Developer to join our cloud contact center team. You will work with Amazon Connect, Lex, Lambda and DynamoDB to maintain and enhance our cloud-based CS infrastructure.

Responsibilities include supporting Connect-based solutions, monitoring Lambda workflows, optimizing CodePipeline deployments, and ensuring reliable incident resolution with CloudWatch logging and effective documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience with Amazon Connect and AWS service integrations.
• Hands-on AWS Lambda experience, preferably Node.js.
• Strong background in CI/CD tooling and DynamoDB access.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 production support for Amazon Connect-based solutions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot AWS Lambda functions in Connect workflows.
• Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines using CodePipeline.
• Query and manage DynamoDB tables for real-time data access.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams for releases and incident resolution.
• Implement logging and alerting using CloudWatch and other tools.
• Participate in on-call rotation and resolve incidents promptly.
• Document support procedures, known issues, and resolutions.

Job description

We are seeking a skilled and proactive AWS Developer to join our cloud contact center team leveraging Amazon Connect. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS Connect, Lex, Lambda and Amazon DynamoDB, and will be responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and enhancing our cloud-based customer service infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide L2/L3 production support for Amazon Connect-based contact center solutions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot issues in AWS Lambda functions integrated with Amazon Connect workflows.
• Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines using AWS Code Pipeline for seamless deployment and rollback.
• Manage and query Amazon DynamoDB tables for real-time data access and updates.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure smooth releases and incident resolution.
• Implement logging and alerting using CloudWatch and other monitoring tools.
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide timely resolution to production incidents.
• Document support procedures, known issues, and resolutions.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience with Amazon Connect and its integration with AWS services.
• Proficiency in AWS Lambda (Node.js is preferred).
• Experience with AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy.
• Hands-on knowledge of Amazon DynamoDB, including table design and querying.
• Familiarity with CloudFormation for infrastructure as code.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Must be amenable on a hybrid set up of 2x a month, in night shift schedule (8PM-5AM PH Time)
