Job summary

Axos Clearing LLC in Manila is seeking an AVP of Shared Services to lead a team executing core accounting operations, own the close process, and ensure accurate journal entries and reconciliations.

You will lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes, ensure adherence to GAAP and internal controls, coach staff, and drive timely remediation of findings while delivering reliable financial reports.

Qualifications

• Experience leading an accounting or shared services team.
• Proven track record in month-end close and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
• Ability to coach and develop staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes for assigned processes or entities.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial schedules for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure adherence to GAAP, internal accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Directly manage, coach, and develop accounting staff.
• Own execution of key internal controls and drive timely remediation of findings.
• Demonstrates effective team leadership by managing individual and team performance, coaching employees, and fostering engagement to ensure consistent execution and delivery.
