CLIENT:

A leading logistics, transportation, and supply chain solutions provider in the Philippines.

POSITION: AVP FOR PROCUREMENT

WORK SCHEDULE & SET UP:

Daily onsite from Mondays to Fridays

JOB LOCATION:

Pasay City

SALARY BUDGET:

₱150,000 to ₱250,000 gross per month (depending on experience/non-negotiable), 13th & 14th month bonuses, plus other benefits

JOB SUMMARY:

Leads the overall procurement strategy of the organization, driving cost optimization, supplier relationship management, contract negotiations, and sourcing initiatives. Responsible for developing and implementing strategic procurement programs while leading a team of (4) Procurement Managers to ensure operational efficiency, cost savings, and value creation across the business.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of any four-year course; MBA is an advantage
• Must have at least 10 years of procurement experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role (senior management & up)
• Strong background in strategic sourcing, supplier management, contract management, and high-level negotiations
• Proven experience leading and developing procurement teams
• Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, and decision-making skills
• Must be amenable to a daily onsite work setup in Pasay City

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for driving the company's strategic procurement initiatives with a strong focus on sourcing strategy, supplier relationship management, contract negotiations, cost optimization, and risk management. The role partners closely with key business stakeholders and suppliers to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of raw materials, ingredients, packaging, and other indirect requirements while supporting business growth and operational excellence. The ideal candidate must possess extensive procurement experience within the food manufacturing or food ingredients industry and demonstrate strong commercial acumen, resilience, and the ability to effectively navigate a demanding and fast-paced environment.
