Job summary

Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is seeking an experienced AVP – Head of Risk Management to lead enterprise-wide risk initiatives. You will identify, assess, and mitigate risks while strengthening governance, compliance, and risk assurance practices, working with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

The role focuses on developing risk management strategies, policies, and training programs to promote accountability and continuous improvement across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant business-related discipline.
• A Bachelor of Laws degree is an advantage.
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant professional experience in risk management, strategic risk assessment, and risk assurance.
• Senior management or leadership experience.
• Proven ability to partner with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
• Strong background in compliance, ethics, insurance risk, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide risk assessments and develop strategies to identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks.
• Partner with senior leadership in developing and implementing risk management policies, procedures, and controls.
• Oversee compliance and risk assurance activities to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Develop training programs to strengthen risk awareness and accountability culture.
• Oversee investigation, assessment, and resolution of significant risk events.
• Manage insurance, claims, liability, and other risk-related matters with internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop and deliver risk management programs across functions.
• Monitor key risk indicators and provide reports to leadership and governance committees.
• Provide leadership during major incidents, disruptions, and crises.
• Analyze risk data and trends to identify exposures and proactive mitigations.
• Embed risk management practices throughout the organization.
