Job summary

Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of an established organization for an AVP – Head of Information and Cyber Security to lead the cybersecurity strategy, governance, and risk management across the group in Metro Manila.

The role requires strategic leadership of cybersecurity teams, budget planning, regulatory compliance, and ongoing monitoring, evaluation, and reporting to senior management on performance and improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communications Engineering or related field.
• Doctorate in related field preferred.
• At least 15 years of IT or security experience.
• General knowledge of IT, operating systems, networks, apps, and databases.
• Ability to correlate unstructured events and disrupt cyber attacker kill-chain.
• Knowledge of the incident response process.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Integrity, motivation, and teamwork.
• Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee annual budget for Information and Cybersecurity aligned with goals.
• Lead the Information & Cybersecurity Program and strategic plans.
• Prepare the annual operational plan with objectives, KPIs, and timetables.
• Develop training plans for upskilling, reskilling, and cross-skilling.
• Review performance objectives and align job roles with department goals.
• Manage information security staff, processes, and tech across the group.
• Enforce policies and ensure compliance across all group companies.
• Lead risk assessment and mitigation for information assets.
• Provide regular security performance reports to senior management.
