BairesDev is seeking a Validation Engineer to ensure the reliability and safety of autonomous vehicle systems through rigorous testing and simulation. This remote role focuses on building evaluation pipelines for offline assessment and scenario-based validation, joining a global team delivering high-impact projects.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in software engineering for AV validation, strong Python skills, and hands-on experience with CARLA or DRIVE Sim.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering with a focus on autonomous vehicle validation.
• Expertise in designing and implementing simulation pipelines using CARLA or DRIVE Sim.
• Hands-on experience with scenario generation, offline evaluation, and automated testing.
• Advanced Python skills and large-scale data analysis pipeline design.
• Strong understanding of vehicle validation methodology and end-to-end pipeline ownership.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Architect and manage end-to-end simulation pipelines to validate autonomous vehicle behaviors.
• Design diverse and complex testing scenarios using CARLA or NVIDIA DRIVE Sim.
• Develop automated testing protocols and offline evaluation strategies for system performance.
• Engineer large-scale data analysis pipelines in Python to process and interpret validation results.
• Take ownership of the validation lifecycle from design to deployment.
