Job summary

Toyota Alabang, Inc. (TAI) is seeking a competent Job Controller to support workshop operations in Metro Manila. You will assist the foreman, update progress on the Job Progress Control Board, and encode data in a computerized system to track daily activities.

The role involves allocating manpower, distributing repair orders by priority and skill, and generating reports to improve efficiency and on-time completion. Strong communication and computer literacy are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduates of 2-4 year automotive courses or related programs.
• At least 1 year work experience in the automotive industry.
• Good leadership, time management, customer care, and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Assist the foreman on the job loading and monitoring of technicians.
• Assist the foreman in updating and monitoring of the job with the use of the Job Progress Control Board.
• Under a computerized set-up, the Job Controller also functions as the data encoder on the computer
• Accomplishes reports related to workshop operations.
• Determine daily allocation of available manpower capacity based on the total hours of the available technicians.
• Distribute repair orders to the most appropriately skilled technician based on priority and completion time.
• Monitor and follow-up on work progress for each technician to insure completion on time.
