About the role
An Automotive Machine Operator / Machinist role involving operation of lathe machines and other basic machining equipment in an automotive, machining, fabrication, or production environment.
Key responsibilities
Operate lathe machines and other basic machining equipment
Perform basic automotive machining operations, including turning, cutting, drilling, and related machine work
Read and interpret basic technical drawings, measurements, dimensions, and specifications
Ensure that machined parts meet required measurements, specifications, and quality standards
Perform proper machine setup, operation, and basic maintenance
Use measuring instruments and hand tools, such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools
About you
Experience as a Lathe Machine Operator, Tornero, Machinist, Machine Operator, or similar role
Experience in an automotive, machining, fabrication, or production environment
Knowledgeable in operating lathe machines and other basic machining equipment
Able to read and interpret basic technical drawings, measurements, dimensions, and specifications
Knowledgeable in the proper use of measuring instruments and hand tools, such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy
Physically fit and capable of performing production and automotive machining-related tasks
Able to follow instructions and work effectively with minimal supervision
TESDA training/certification in Machining, Automotive Servicing, or related fields encouraged
