Job summary

UNISON MOTOR CORPORATION is seeking a capable Machinist/Machine Operator to join our production team in the Philippines. You will operate automotive machining equipment, perform turning and related tasks, and read basic drawings to ensure parts meet specifications.

The role requires familiarity with measuring instruments, attention to detail, and the ability to work under minimal supervision while maintaining safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

About the role

Operate machines used in the automotive production and fabrication process, performing turning, machining, and related production tasks according to specifications. You will operate and monitor machines to ensure proper and accurate production of parts and components, read and interpret technical drawings and specifications, and perform basic machine setup, adjustments, and routine maintenance.

• Perform basic machine setup, adjustments, and routine maintenance

• Inspect machined parts/components to ensure they meet required measurements and specifications

• Maintain proper housekeeping and cleanliness in the production area

• Follow established production, quality, and safety standards

About you

• Preferably with experience as a Tornero, Machine Operator, Machinist, or similar role

• Experience in an automotive, machining, fabrication, or production environment is an advantage

• Knowledgeable in basic machining operations and machine tools

• Familiar with the proper use of measuring instruments and hand tools

• Able to read basic technical drawings, measurements, and specifications

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Physically fit and capable of performing production-related tasks

• Able to follow instructions and work effectively with minimal supervision
