Job summary

XG Tech PTE.LTD. in the Philippines seeks a Linux Kernel Engineer to develop and optimize Linux system software for next‑generation vehicle SoCs.

You will work on kernel development, device drivers, system construction, and virtualization to ensure stable, high‑performance operation across cockpit and driving domains. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Electronics/CS/Automation with ≥3 years in Linux kernel development, ARM64 familiarity, and hands‑on debugging (JTAG/ramdump).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics, Computer Science, Automation or related fields.
• 3+ years of Linux kernel development experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with ARM64 architecture and Linux kernel subsystems.
• Proficient in real-time debugging (JTAG/T32) and crash analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Linux minimal system, ensuring operation of CPU, memory, cache, GIC, timer, UART, and DTS.
• Build and maintain Linux platforms for diverse hardware environments (HAPS, EVB, etc.).
• Develop and optimize kernel functions including boot, scheduling, memory management, and profiling.
• Contribute to Linux platform compatibility and virtualization solutions; participate in upstream contributions.
• Document design specifications and manuals; maintain system documentation.
