Job summary

Thales Group in Manila seeks an Embedded Software Engineer to design, implement and test real-time embedded features near hardware interfaces. You will work in a DevOps/Agile team focused on scalable, high-performance software for radar, wearables and telecom hardware.

The role requires Master’s level education and hands-on experience with embedded Linux, VxWorks, C/C++, and modern deployment tools. A collaborative, innovative environment is provided.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering, CS, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Experience in DevOps/Agile/Scrum in real-time embedded environments.
• Proficiency in embedded OS development on Linux, VxWorks, FastOS Linux.
• Proficient in C/C++ and VB.NET, ADA, Assembly.
• Familiar with DDS, ARINC communication protocols.
• Experience with AWS or GCP and deployment tools (Helm/Yaml/Ansible/Docker).
• Familiar with Jira and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and test features with scalability, performance, deployment or operation in mind.
• Apply coding and implementation best practices to deliver high-quality, reusable code.
• Collaborate with other developers to share knowledge and improve the product; engage with UX and follow Agile practices.
• Keep up-to-date with latest technologies; participate in deployment and testing activities in CI/CD environments.
