Job summary

Bühler Group in the Philippines seeks an Automation Quotation Engineer to prepare quotation documents for automation projects, including pricing, concepts, and presentations in strict alignment with internal standards.

You will provide technical leadership, coordinate with Sales and Engineering, and own the quotation scope, risks, and deliverables to ensure timely submissions.

Candidates should have 2–3 years’ engineering experience, automation knowledge, and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years engineering experience, preferably in quotation, project or technical sales engineering.
• Experience in Industrial Automation.
• Ability to manage technical and commercial aspects of quotations.
• Experience in layout preparation and customer-facing discussions.
• Proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare automation quotations using Bühler internal tools, standards and processes.
• Clarify automation requirements with internal project sales teams and customers.
• Perform technical and commercial analysis of customer requirements with Sales Manager.
• Develop project-specific plant automation concepts based on customer requirements and Bühler standards.
• Collaborate with Sales, Technology, Engineering, Commercial Services, Mechanical Engineers and Automation Specialists to develop competitive quotations.
• Own quotations scope, assumptions, risks, exclusions and deliverables.
• Provide timely responses to internal technical questions during quotation phase.
• Proactively follow up on submitted quotation documents with stakeholders or customers.
