Job summary

La Filipina Uy Gongco Group of Companies seeks a Robotics and Automation Engineer to encode PLC/HMI programming from machine processes and to upgrade software for security and efficiency. The role includes testing, documentation, startups, and ongoing technical support for PLC/HMI systems.

You will assist production and engineering teams, implement contingency plans, and coordinate with the Robotics and Automation Head to resolve issues per SLA, ensuring GMP compliance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in programming languages and PHP/Laravel
• Experience integrating automation troubleshooting software with Siemens/Allen-Bradley/Omron
• Ability to read equipment repair materials and schematics
• Experience in PLC logic and web/interface design
• System integrations beyond APIs
• SQL query writing
• PLC programming with Siemens/Allen-Bradley/SCADA/HMI
• BSCS/Engineering or related field

Responsibilities

• Encode PLC/HMI programming from machine processes
• Upgrade PLC software for security and efficiency
• Test programs and modify sequences
• Documentation, start-up, and ongoing support of PLC/HMI
• Provide technical support to production and engineering
• Implement contingency plans for system failures
• Address issues per SLA and coordinate with Robotics and Automation Head
• Submit WBS and RAM for projects
• Assist in project implementation and client satisfaction
• Backup SCADA/PLC/HMI systems
• Share knowledge and provide training
• Coordinate with IT and engineering to resolve cross-department issues
• Guide team members and maintain GMP compliance
