Job summary

Bühler Group in Manila is seeking an experienced engineer to support and advise Project Engineers on automation projects. You will develop and implement PLC-based plant control systems, define software concepts, and manage project planning and delivery.

The role requires 6+ years in industrial automation, strong PLC/HMI proficiency (Siemens S7/TIA Portal), and excellent communication. Travel may be required to support projects worldwide.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Engineering or any related Degree.
• Minimum 6 years relevant experience.
• Experience in industrial process automation and in implementing PLC-based control systems is an advantage.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing automation solutions.
• Proficient in PLC and HMI systems (Siemens S7 / TIA Portal).
• Skilled in technical documentation and specification writing.
• Professional experience in project management.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Supports and advises Project Engineers on projects, on all technical belonging related to his specialization, and ensure that design will meet he customers' expectations.
• Develop and implement demanding automation projects in the field of plant control systems
• Define the software concept based on the documentation and specifications
• Project planning and controlling
• Responsibility for budget, schedule, and quality
• Coordination of the various project stakeholders (customers, sales, mechanical engineering, technology)
• Participate in Project Reviews as support of the Project Manager/ Director if required
• Actively participate in project meetings with cross - functional team members, suppliers, and/or customers
• Program and test PLC software in accordance with standard guidelines
• Carry out commissioning of plant control systems both domestically and abroad
