ABB is seeking a Field Service Engineer to execute technical service activities on DCS/PLC systems across hydro power plants and industrial facilities in the APAC region. You will troubleshoot complex equipment, ensure safety and quality, and deliver exceptional customer service.

Locations include Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, or Thailand with hybrid/on-site work expectations. The role requires 5+ years of hands-on field service experience, English fluency, and willingness to travel within

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of field service experience troubleshooting PLC/DCS systems.
Experience with hydro power generation and power plants.
Fluent in English with strong communication.

Responsabilités

Plan, prepare, and execute field service work on DCS and PLC systems.
Perform on-site and remote diagnostics and root-cause analysis.
Maintain clear service timelines and on-time completion with first-time right approach.
Prepare material lists and ensure parts availability.
Collaborate with customers on-site to identify improvements and notify account team.
Service multiple DCS configurations with hydro power processes.
Drive continuous improvement in service delivery processes.
Maintain customer retention through professional conduct and reliability.
