Job summary

Dempsey Resource Management in the Philippines is seeking an engineer to provide field support for DCS, instrumentation and related devices. The role covers system development coordination, design integration and FAT/SAT testing across projects.

You will develop specifications, documentation, and run-book automation, travel to sites as needed, perform preventive maintenance, assist sales with technical proposals, and collaborate with a team to deliver on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• A degree in Chemical Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in Sales/Marketing or an Engineering role is an advantage.
• Independent, driven, and results oriented.
• Strong analytical skills and self-motivation.
• Good interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willing to travel for work assignments or site visits.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate system development tasks including design, integration and formal testing (FAT/SAT).
• Develop and complete actions in system specification, technical and logistical requirements.
• Create and maintain programmatic and technical documentation.
• Work with team to analyze, plan and develop run-book automation for software deployment and supporting infrastructure.
• Prepare and monitor work schedules, project costing and procurement, coordinating with all parties to ensure progress within time and budget.
• Assist Project Manager in planning and execution of project plans at site or office.
• Execute preventive maintenance work for existing systems.
• Solve problems at customer sites.
• Calibration of measuring instruments.
• Support for sales activities (quotation preparation and technical presentations to customers).
