Your Role

As an Automation Engineer, you will:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for testing web, API, and backend systems.
• Create and execute automated test scripts to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.
• Collaborate with developers and QA teams to identify test scenarios and improve test coverage.
• Debug test failures, analyze root causes, and enhance automation stability and performance.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in test automation or software quality engineering
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript
• Hands‑on experience with automation tools/frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or similar)
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools

Preferred Skills/expertise

• Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured)
• Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6)
• Understanding of BDD/TDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber)
• Experience with containerization tools (e.g., Docker)
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
