Job summary

Confidential in the Philippines seeks an Automation Engineer to maintain, troubleshoot, and improve PLC-controlled equipment and production machinery for reliability and efficiency.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnose PLC programs, sensors, motor controls, and support control logic improvements while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical/Mechatronics/Electronics/related field.
• Fresh graduates with relevant OJT experience (robotics or automation) or capstone project related to PLCs accepted.
• Knowledgeable in PLC programming, motor controls, automation systems, and control engineering concepts.
• Experience with preventive maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, bearing maintenance, and condition monitoring.
• Strong communication skills, ability to handle stress, and ability to lift at least 20kg.
• Willing to work onsite in Canlubang, Laguna.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, troubleshoots, and improves PLC-controlled equipment and automation systems.
• Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on PLC-based equipment.
• Troubleshoots PLC programs, motor controls, sensors, and automation equipment.
• Conducts inspections, condition monitoring, and failure analysis.
• Supports PLC programming and control logic improvements on automation projects.
• Implements continuous improvement initiatives to boost equipment performance and reliability.
• Ensures compliance with safety standards, SOPs, and maintenance practices.
