Job summary

Eagle Cement Corporation (MNL) seeks an Automation Engineer to manage PLC change requests and internal service delivery. You will coordinate modification schedules, develop PLC logic prior to implementation, and run cold and hot tests after updates.

Additionally, you will support plant availability across kilns, cement mills, and packhouses, ensuring calibration accuracy within tight tolerance and maintaining spare parts and backups for PLC systems.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Automation, Electronics, Mechatronics or Instrumentation Engineering.
• Familiarity with PLC.
• At least 2 years of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate PLC modification schedules with requestors and develop PLC logic before implementation.
• Conduct cold and hot testing after PLC updates.
• Support availability targets across Kilns, Cement Mills and Packhouses and maintain PLC logic backups.
• Perform calibrations and maintain calibration accuracy within ±3% tolerance and coordinate calibration plans and spare parts.

• Support achievement of availability targets across: Kilns, Cement Mills and Packhouses. Ensure spare PLC parts are available, Maintain up-to-date PLC logic backups.
• Perform scheduled calibrations, Maintain calibration accuracy within ±3% tolerance, Ensure availability of calibration-related spare parts, Coordinate calibration plans and issue resolution.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

• A graduate of Automation, Electronics, Mechatronics or Instrumentation Engineering.
• Has familiarity with PLC
• With at least 2 years working experience.
