INFINITEQ Smart Power, Inc. is seeking an AutoCAD Operator for a freelance, project-based contract based in Alabang, Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila. You will translate concepts into precise electrical and mechanical drawings for power generation and distribution projects.

The ideal candidate has proven AutoCAD proficiency, a relevant engineering background, and the ability to work independently with strong attention to detail and timely delivery of drawings.

Qualifications

• BS Electrical Engineering degree is preferred but not required.
• Own equipment and willingness to work on-site in Alabang, Muntinlupa.
• Proven proficiency in AutoCAD with experience in power generation/distribution drawings.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify detailed AutoCAD drawings and schematics.
• Convert concepts from engineers into accurate CAD drawings.
• Prepare construction documents and electrical schematics for power projects.
• Ensure drawings are dimensionally correct with proper annotations.

About the role

INFINITEQ Smart Power, Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced AutoCAD Operator to join our team on a freelance, project-based contract basis. This position is based in Alabang, Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila, and offers the flexibility of contract work tailored to specific project requirements.

As an AutoCAD Operator, you will play a crucial role in the Power Generation and Distribution sector, creating detailed technical drawings and designs that support our company's infrastructure and engineering projects. Your work will be instrumental in translating conceptual designs into precise, industry-compliant technical documentation that guides our construction and implementation teams.

What you'll be doing

• Creating and modifying detailed technical drawings and schematics using AutoCAD software, adhering to industry standards and company specifications
• Converting design concepts and specifications provided by senior engineers and project managers into accurate CAD drawings
• Preparing construction documents, electrical schematics, and layout drawings for power generation and distribution projects
• Ensuring all drawings are dimensionally accurate and include proper annotations, symbols, and technical details
• Collaborating with project teams to understand requirements and deliver drawings that meet project timelines and specifications
• Maintaining and organising drawing files, ensuring proper version control and documentation standards
• Revising and updating drawings based on feedback from engineers, architects, and project stakeholders
• Adhering to health, safety, and quality standards relevant to power industry documentation and practices

What we're looking for

• BS Electrical Engineering graduate (preferred but not required)
• With valid driver's license and willing to work (at times) in Alabang, Muntinlupa
• With own equipment (preferred)
• Proven proficiency in AutoCAD, with demonstrated experience in creating technical drawings within the power generation, distribution, or related engineering sectors
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical drawing conventions, standards, and best practices
• Ability to interpret engineering specifications, blueprints, and design requirements accurately
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing error-free technical documentation
• Proficiency in reading and working with complex technical drawings and schematics
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple drawings and projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with engineers, project managers, and other team members
• Familiarity with industry standards relevant to power generation and distribution is highly advantageous
• Flexibility to work on a project-based, freelance arrangement with varying workload demands
