LEC Steel Manufacturing Corp. in Quezon City is seeking an experienced Autocad Engineer to join our Engineering Drafting team on a full-time basis.

You will translate concepts into precise technical drawings that form the foundation of our steel manufacturing operations and guide production. Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD software with demonstrated expertise in creating technical drawings.
• Solid understanding of engineering drawing standards, conventions and best practices.
• Strong knowledge of steel fabrication processes, materials, and manufacturing techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate drawings.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering specifications and technical documents.
• Ability to work collaboratively with engineers, designers, and production teams.
• Strong problem solving skills and ability to resolve design-related issues.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed technical drawings and designs using AutoCAD based on engineering specifications and client requirements.
• Prepare comprehensive 2D and 3D drawings for steel components, assemblies, and fabrication projects.
• Review and interpret design briefs, sketches, and technical documentation from senior engineers.
• Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, codes, and company specifications.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to refine designs and resolve technical issues.
• Maintain accurate and organised digital filing systems for all drawings and design documentation.
• Prepare bills of materials and other technical documentation as required.
• Revise drawings in response to feedback from engineers, supervisors, and clients.
• Support the engineering department in producing quality documentation for manufacturing, procurement, and client delivery.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute technical insights to optimise manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Autocad Engineer to join our Engineering Drafting team at our Quezon City Metro Manila facility on a full-time basis. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and designs using Autocad software that form the foundation of our steel manufacturing operations. The Autocad Engineer plays a critical role in translating conceptual designs and engineering specifications into detailed, accurate drawings that guide our production processes. This position is essential to ensuring that all manufacturing projects are executed with precision, efficiency, and adherence to industry standards.

Key responsibilities
