Job summary

Megatitan Corporation (formerly Beiben Trucks Philippines, Inc.) is seeking skilled tinsmiths to fabricate and assemble metal parts, joining components and restoring tin ware. You will read blueprints, mark materials precisely, and apply protective finishes, while maintaining a clean, safe workshop.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, vocational metalwork training, and hands-on experience with soldering and welding.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in metalwork preferred.
• Apprenticeship or prior experience in sheet metal work.
• Knowledge of soldering, welding, and finishing techniques.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Fabrication & Assembly: Cut, bend, and shape sheet metal into products.
• Joining & Repair: Use soldering, riveting, welding, and crimping techniques to join metal components.
• Finishing Work: Polish, coat, and apply protective finishes to prevent corrosion.
• Technical Application: Read blueprints, sketches, and engineering manuals.
• Safety & Maintenance: Follow safety standards and maintain tools and workspace.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabrication & Assembly
  

  Cut, bend, and shape sheet metal into products such as roofing materials, ducts, lanterns, funnels, and decorative household items.

  
  

  Create patterns and templates for accurate production.

  
  


• Joining & Repair
  

  Use soldering, riveting, welding, and crimping techniques to join metal components.

  
  

  Repair and restore damaged tin ware, ensuring durability and aesthetic quality.

  
  


• Finishing Work
  

  Polish, coat, and apply protective finishes to prevent corrosion.

  
  

  Perform decorative punching or embossing for artistic designs.

  
  


• Technical Application
  

  Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering manuals.

  
  

  Measure and mark sheet metal with precision instruments.

  
  


• Safety & Maintenance
  

  Follow occupational health and safety standards.

  
  

  Maintain tools, equipment, and workshop cleanliness.
