Qualifications

Experience as tinsmith, sheet metal worker, welder or similar skilled trade.
Knowledge of sheet-metal fabrication and welding techniques.
Ability to read basic technical drawings and use measuring tools.
Proficient in using welding machines and metal fabrication tools.
Knowledge of workplace health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

Measure, mark, cut, bend, shape, and fabricate sheet-metal materials.
Perform welding, brazing, and other metal-joining processes as required.
Fabricate and assemble ducts, panels, covers, frames, tanks, pipes, and other metal components.
Use hand tools, power tools, welding machines, grinders, shears, and other metalworking equipment safely.
Inspect welds, dimensions, and finished components for quality and accuracy.
Repair damaged or defective metal components.
Follow proper welding procedures and workplace safety regulations.
