Job summary

Cartrack Philippines is seeking an Automotive/Auto Electrical GPS Technician to install GPS trackers across Calabarzon and NCR. You will configure devices, troubleshoot, and document service activities for a dynamic mobility solutions team.

Ideal candidates hold a vocational diploma or relevant short course in automotive/electrical technology, have 6–12 months of GPS installation experience, and possess a valid driver’s license with a motorcycle.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months to 1 year of relevant GPS installer/auto technician experience.
• Diploma/certificate in automotive or electrical technology is required or preferred.
• Proficient in automotive systems, electronics, troubleshooting, and technical analysis.

Responsibilities

• Install GPS tracking devices in vehicles.
• Configure devices and troubleshoot issues.
• Analyze root causes and resolve hardware/software problems.
• Complete installation and service documentation (forms, reports, logs).
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints through testing and diagnostics.
• Maintain customer trust by handling service information confidentially.

Job Responsibilities:

• Install GPS tracking devices in various types of vehicles
• Configure devices and troubleshoot technical issues
• Analyze root causes and resolve hardware/software problems
• Complete installation and service documentation (forms, reports, logs, etc.)
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints through testing and diagnostics
• Maintain customer trust by handling service information confidentially

Qualifications:

• Vocational Diploma or Short Course Certificate in Automotive or Electrical Technology or related courses
• Minimum of 6 months to 1-year relevant work experience in a similar role as GPS Installer, Car Accessories Installer or Automotive/ ElectricalTechnician in a car/ truck dealership or in an automotive service center.
• Proficient in: Automotive systems, Electronics, Troubleshooting, Driving, Technical Analysis, and Client Service
• Skilled in developing effective and efficient work procedures
• Must have a valid driver's license and owns a motorcycle
• Willing and able to conduct fieldwork across Calabarzon or NCR and nearby areas
