Job summary

Cartrack in the Philippines is seeking an Automotive/Auto Electrical GPS Technician based in Pampanga to install GPS tracking devices across various vehicle types and ensure proper configuration and diagnostics.

You will analyze issues, document service activities, and conduct fieldwork in Pampanga while maintaining customer trust and confidentiality. A vocational diploma with automotive/electrical focus and a valid driver's license are required, plus motorcycle ownership.

Qualifications

• Vocational diploma or short course in automotive or electrical tech is required.
• 6 months to 1 year of relevant GPS/installer experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and own a motorcycle.
• Willing to conduct fieldwork across Pampanga.

Responsibilities

• Install GPS tracking devices in various types of vehicles.
• Configure devices and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Analyze root causes and resolve hardware/software problems.
• Complete installation and service documentation (forms, reports, logs).
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints through testing and diagnostics.
• Maintain customer trust by handling service information confidentially.

Job Responsibilities:

• Install GPS tracking devices in various types of vehicles
• Configure devices and troubleshoot technical issues

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 months to 1-yearrelevant work experience in a similar role as GPS Installer, Car Accessories Installer orAutomotive/ ElectricalTechnician in a car/ truck dealership or in an automotive service center.
• Proficient in: Automotive systems, Electronics, Troubleshooting, Driving, Technical Analysis, and Client Service
• Skilled in developing effective and efficient work procedures
• Must have a valid driver’s license and ownsa motorcycle
• Willing and able to conduct fieldwork across Pampanga
