Qualifications

• At least three years of experience preparing Australian tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts and companies.
• Experience supporting Australian businesses or clients in accounting roles.
• Proven ability to communicate in English with Australian stakeholders.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing or related discipline is required.
• Willingness to learn and develop audit skills through coaching.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and roll forward audit working papers using prior-year documentation.
• Assist in completing audit planning documents under guidance from seniors.
• Prepare draft financial statements and lead schedules from client trial balances.
• Coordinate audit information requests and maintain audit files.
• Support in-house audit fieldwork and review documentation for managers/partners.
• Collaborate with local audit team on larger engagements as needed.
• Identify basic audit observations and contribute to internal control assessments.
